Background & Experience

Andy has focused his law practice on business transactions, predominantly in Nevada and California, for more than 25-years. As a result, he has gained vast experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and limited liability company law, all aspects of real estate law (acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, financing and refinancing) and tax law. Andy is licensed to practice law in California and Nevada.

Andy maintains a broad transactional and business law practice. He represents developer-based clients in all facets of their projects, including syndication, acquisition, development and high-end leasing matters, as well as real estate investors. Andy is able to add value to his clients’ transactions based on his knowledge and understanding of the Federal and State tax laws.

Andy was born and raised in the San Francisco, California, Bay Area and obtained his Juris Doctorate degree (with Distinction) in 1998 from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Andy was a member of the Pacific Law Review during law school, serving as Chief Legislation Editor, and obtained practical legal experience while clerking for several law firms in Sacramento, California throughout law school. Andy obtained his LL.M. degree in Federal Taxation from New York University School of Law in 1999, during which time he clerked for a major international law firm. Prior to relocating to Southern Nevada in May of 2000, Andy represented corporate clients in the Silicon Valley during the height of the “dot-com” boom working primarily on pre-IPO capitalization and restructuring transactions.
